Federated Chapel @ 10: Topshotnews, Today’s News, CityMovers Publishers, Others, Bag NUJ’s Media Role Model Award

In the celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Federated Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo State Chapter, some outstanding members of the union were recognized for their contributions to journalism practice in the state as well as their leadership roles in the union.
The anniversary was held at the OSPDC Event Hall Ijapo on Sunday, July 22nd..
The Publisher of Today’s News, Prince Adefemi Ojopagogo, Mrs Ngozi Aduloju who publishes Topshot Magazine, Deacon Bayo Adediran of Citymovers among others were all decorated.
Speaking with PATH NEWS, Prince Ojopagogo thanked the leadership of the union for the recognition saying the honour would go a long way in adding to his profile as a seasoned journalist.
On her part, Aduloju described the award as humbling and inspiring, noting that it will further strengthen her resolve to remain committed to truth, professionalism, and responsible journalism.
She also commended the leadership of the chapel for their consistency in promoting excellence within the profession just as she reaffirmed commitment to amplifying voices, advocating for good governance, and upholding the ethics of journalism in Nigeria and across the African continent.
The NUJ Federated Chapel’s event, which brought together stakeholders from various sectors, also featured awards to other media professionals.
Other highlights include presentation of a lecture titled: “Good Governance; A Pathway to Development in Nigeria’ by Prof. Sola Fayose as well as special honour for Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Chief Press Secretary to Ondo State Governor as Patron of the Chapel, Dr. Mrs. Lola Oshin among others who have made significant impacts in public service over the last ten years.
