Surveyor Oludare Kayode has joined million Nigerians to felicitate with the Christians faithful in Ondo State, thanking God for adding another year to his age.
The Surveyor whose birthday coincidentally falls on Easter Monday, April 18th appreciated God for giving him another opportunity to add another year to his age despite challenges of life.
His words: ” Staying alive in good health and bountiful blessings could only be God; despite the up and down of life, God in His infinite Mercy kept me alive. I returned all praises and adoration to Him”.
While greeting the Christians, he said Easter should be a period of sober reflection, saying Christians should emulate Christ and see his death as a big sacrifice for the atonement of our sins.
He added that, Christ died on the Cross for people to be saved, noting that all Christians must be upright so that the death of Jesus Christ would not be in vain.
While also urging Christians to emulate the selfless life of Christ said Easter celebration which commemorates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is yet another time to be reminded of the sacrificial love of God towards humanity.
He stated further that, Christians should see the festive season beyond merriment but as a period to showing love and giving to the less privileged in the society.
