Enockphilllips CEO, Hon Akintola Phillips Bags Sunshine State Achievers Award Sept 27
The Chief Executive Officer of the Enockphilllips Nigeria Limited, Hon Akintola Olumide Phillips would be conferred with Sunshine State Achievers Award by the management of the PATH NEWS in Akure, Ondo State Capital.
Akintola is a young industrious entrepreneur and politician who is using his God given resources for not only community development alone but also for Humanitarian Services.
The recognition is coming at this year edition of the event based on the contributions of Mr Akintola to Youth and Community development in Ileoluji and environs.
The ceremony would be held at the OSDPC Event Centre, IJapo Estate, Akure, on the 27th September, as part of the line up activities celebrating the 8th anniversary of the PATH NEWS Magazine and Sunshine State Achivers Award 2026 edition.
The program is expected to draw dignitaries from across the state and beyond, of which penciled down the Ile-Oluji born Entrepreneur for the highest honor of YOUTH AMBASSADOR AWARD IN HUMAN & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.
In the poll conducted by the Award Planning Committee, he beats others selected for this category of the award, having polled the highest votes cast.
In a Press Statement released by the Planning Committee, the nomination of Hon Akintola Olumide Phillips was by popular request based on his exemplary leadership, outstanding contributions to the development of his community and youths,, high level of integrity, diligence in service among others lives touching initiatives to his people.
Part of the activities line up for the program includes public Lecture titled ” 2027:Poll: Godfathers, Money Politics And Electoral Violence In Nigeria: Effect on Free and Fair Elections” to be delivered by Pastor St Rufus Olalere.
Launching of the Pathcare Leadership Foundation, Unveiling of Special Brochure, Award presentation among others side attractions will form part of the activities celebrating PATH @ 8 and the 2026 Sunshine State Achivers Award.
His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Governor of Ondo State is expected at the occasion as Chief Host and Special Guest of Honour.
The well celebrated Sunshine State Achivers Award would be chaired by Dr Thomas Wilson -Ikubese, the CMD of Skye Hospital and former Presidential Aspirant, and co-chaired by Chief Akindele Omole, the Bobaselu of Odigbo Kingdom, Otunba Benji Oloye is the Chief Launcher.
All prominent personalities expected at the event include APC State Chairman, Hon Kolawole Babatunde, Sir Olusegun Odusola, Head of Service, Prof Bayo Ilawole, Permanent Secretary, Ondo State Local Government Service Commission, Comrade Fredrick Akinrinlola, NULGE President Ondo State,, CEO/DG of OSRC Media Group, Mr Kenneth Odusola -Stevenson among others personalities.
