Elizade University: Ex PDP Governorship Aspirant, Banji Okunomo Bags First Class in Law

A former People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship aspirant in Ondo State, Hon Banji Okunomo on Friday, 21st October, 2022 bagged First Class in Law alongside 41 others during the joint Convocation ceremonies for 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 academic sessions at Elizade University, Ilara Mokin.
Speaking with the PATH NEWS, the elated Ilaje born politician thanked God for crowning his efforts despite life threatening challenges, saying he was indeed happy and fulfilled.
According to him, it is a journey borne out of God’s gift, self discovery and a venture to equip self with law to birth social change.
While reaffirming confidence in the quality and standard of education at the foremost university, Okunomo said it takes discipline and hard-work to attain such a great feat at the university.
“I want to dedicate this feat to God. I must say, this came through hard-work”.
Before venturing into Law at Elizade University, Banji is a graduate with second class upper grade in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Technology, Akure.
Also, Okunomo was the former Chairman of Ilaje Local Government and State Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic party in Ondo State respectively.
