“My Name Has Entered Ondo State Guinness Book of Record As 1st Surveyor General to be appointed PS”- Suv. Adigun

The immediate past Surveyor General of Ondo State, Surv Abiodun Adigun has stated that God used Governor Akeredolu to made him the first Surveyor General in the history of Ondo State to be appointed Permanent Secretary, a jinx that has entered Ondo state Guinness Book of Record.
He stated this the End of Year Get-Together put together by Forum of Permanent Secretaries to celebrate retired senior colleagues from the service of Ondo State.
Among the Retired Permanent Secretaries were former Surveyor General of Ondo State, Surv. Abiodun Adigun, former Head of Service, Pastor John Adeyemo, former PS, Lands, Pastor Alake, among others.
The programme was held at The DOME on Thursday, 26th January, 2023 where the retired PS received accolades and gifts for their meritorious services.

Speaking with PATH Surv. Adigun thanked Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN CON for the elevation as Surveyor General and promotion to the rank of Permanent Secretary, adding that he left the service a fulfilled man.
In his goodwill message to the retirees, the Governor ably represented by the Chief of Staff, Chief Olugbenga Ale congratulated the retired officers just as he charged other serving officials to continue to put in their best to deliver good governance to the people of the state.
In separate remarks, the Head of Service, Pastor Kayode Ogundele and the Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Wale Akinteriwa urged members of the forum to also continue to give their best as the government is committed to the welfare of the state workforce.

Other major highlight of the event include special recognition for all retired Permanent Secretaries as well as presentation of gifts.
