Eid-El-Kabir: Dr Olumuyiwa Adu Congratulates Muslims, Asks Them To Pray For Akeredolu

An Akure born philanthropist and All Progressive Congress stalwart in Ondo State, Dr ( Barr) Olumuyiwa Adu has congratulated the Muslim faithful across the length and breadth of Ondo State as they celebrate this year Eid-el-Kabir.
In his sallah message, he wished Muslim faithful in Akure Kingdom and Ondo State a pleasant and safe celebration while urging them to rededicate themselves to God and to continue to pray fervently for the peace, unity, security of the Sunshine State.
Cubana as fondly called urged the Muslim faithful to use this period to pray for quick recovery of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN most especially those performing Hajj in Mecca.
He called for religious tolerance among people of different faiths saying they must learn to see themselves as brothers and sisters from the same heritage no matter religion difference.
Furthermore, he reassured the people of the state of his continue commitment to their welfare while urging them to put aside all prejudices and support Akeredolu led government in Ondo State.
Speaking on the significance of the Eid El-Kabir celebration, Cubana appealed to Muslims to demonstrate the good virtues of Islam through personal examples and practices.
He further implored the Muslim faithful to always exhibit the act of genuine sacrifice and submission to the will of Allah, which he said, are the major lessons of the festival.
He charged Muslim faithful to use the occasion of the festival to pray for Ondo State and its leaders as well as renew their trust in God, with sense of patriotism in all their dealings..
