I join Muslim faithfuls all over the world, particularly my Constituents, to celebrate the commemoration of total obedience to the command of Allah. It is a time to reaffirm our unwavering belief in the instructions of Allah because of His exceptional love for us.
As we celebrate, I admonish us to always trust in God for everything that concerns us. Our father in faith, Ibrahim, did not question God by demonstrating willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to the commandment of Allah. Just like Allah showed up and offered an alternative, Allah will always show up for us and proffer solutions to our problems when we most need His interventions.
I wish us a very blessed Eid-el-Kabir!
