Dr Omole Anthony Temitope Consecrates As First Pentecostal Bishop From Oye Ekiti

In a joyful mood and praising to Almighty God, Dr Omole Anthony Temitope (JP) has been consecrated as the first Pentecostal Bishop from the ancient town of Oye Ekiti in Ekiti State, Southwest Nigeria.

Bishop Omole is the General Overseer of the Possibility Prayer House Ministry located in Akure, capital city of Ondo State.

On Saturday 30th May, 2026, the church auditorium was full to capacity as the One Fold, One Shepherd College of Bishops and Apostles (INC) Nigeria, consecrated and enthroned Dr Omole Anthony Temitope as Bishop.

Speaking at the history making event, the Prelate of One Fold, One Shepherd College of Bishops and Apostles, Bishop Adesoji Paseda, congratulated the new Bishop on his elevation to the position of a Bishop saying his selection and acceptance by the college was through divine intervention.

Bishop Paseda said, the College believes in holiness and he should abide with the principle of righteousness and holiness in his new position as a Bishop.

He advised the Bishop wife to be more careful and serious now that her husband has been consecrated as Bishop saying she needs her most with his new assignment in the vineyard of God.

He added that, she should let the church congregation values her as Bishop’s wife and support the ministry with fervent prayers more than before.

In his sermon, Bishop Olawale Ayegbusi, Lead Bishop of the College emphasized on the division among the body of Christ in Nigeria saying denomination, tribes and church doctrine have divided the church across board.

He added that, to fight and succeed a common enemy in Christendom, all Christians must see themselves as one, speak with one voice than segregation.

Bishop Ayegbusi said insecurity when it started in the North, Christians in other part of the country careless, noting that, the monsters have reached every part of the country, saying everybody is bearing the consequence of non-challatant attitude as a Christian.

He told Bishop Omole not to discriminate among body of Christ saying he was elected and Consecrated as Bishop not only for his church but for all denominations.

In his acceptance speech, Bishop Omole went through the memory lane saying, the journey of his ministration arrangement was full of many experience but thank God for taking his ministry and calling this far.

According to him; “Becoming a BISHOP today is a thing I never dreamt of despite revelations, prophecies, dreams in the past years but today I thank God for bringing this to manifestation”.

He thanked Bishop Paseda for making God’s plan in his life to be fulfilled, describing the consecration as a red letter day and memorable event of a life time.

Bishop Omole also thanked God for making him the first Pentecostal Bishop from Oye Ekiti, a place of his birth while promising to make proper use of the honourable office for the expansion of God’s Kingdom by continue to win souls for Christ and to the glory of God.

He thanked his immediate family, extended family from Oye Ekiti, church members, College leadership and planning Committee for their support and love, describing his new position as a call to more services in the vineyard of God.

Highlight of the programme was the official decoration of the Bishop and Presentation of certificate and other instruments of office to him by the Secretary of the College, Apostle Olufowobi.

Meanwhile, Bishop Omole also held his birthday thanksgiving where members of his family from Oye Ekiti entertained the congregation with cultural display, alongside the Ooye Cultural Troupe were not left out in celebrating the Man of God.

Roll calls at the Bishop Consecration were endless as Bishops, Pastors, Prophets, Traditional Rulers were among the people that graced the programme to celebrate God’s Faithfulness in the life of Bishop Omole Anthony Temitope (JP).
