Festus Akingbaso Celebrates Birthday with Act of Kindness, Renovates Dilapidated Building of Widow

Yesterday, July 6, marked a special day for Hon. Festus Akingbaso, Member of the House of Representatives and Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo State. While many would expect a grand celebration, Hon. Akingbaso chose a different path.

During his recent tour visit to his constituency, he came across a dilapidated building in a deplorable state, still housing dwellers. Moved by the sight, he promised to rehabilitate the structure. True to his word, yesterday, on his birthday, the building had been renovated, reroofed, and made habitable.

The beneficiary of this kind gesture is Mama Folake Odeyemi, a widow and matriarch of the family, who had been living in a rented makeshift house paid for by Hon. Akingbaso. Overjoyed, she expressed her gratitude, praising the MHR for his selflessness.
