The Chairman, Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic, Namoda, Kaura and the founder of MyChoice group of Company, Hon. Omowunmi Ohwovoriole yesterday received double awards first for her Philanthropic Gesture from the Association of Independent Publishers of Nigeria ( AIPN) and again from Ondo Media Awards as Female Personality of the Year.
At the 11th edition of the Ondo State Media Awards held at the International Conference Centre, Dome, Hon. Ohwovoriole said she was very happy to receive the honour just as she stressed the need to continue to equip females to attain the very best in life.
Ohwovoriole said the award will go a long way to spur her to do more not just for her immediate environment but for the nation at large.
The Chairman of the occasion, Adeniyi Adegbonmire had earlier in his remarks commended the convener for celebrating hard work while charging the award recipients not to relent in their pursuit of excellence.
While also nothing that the new award, Ondo State women have a renewed assurance that their welfare and voice will be well represented in the governance of the state, The Princess said.
In the same vain, Hon. Ohwovoriole urged women to continue to equip themselves to attract leadership position as the future of Ondo State women remains bright.
At First Molak Hotel, venue of the AIPN award, Hon. Ohwovoriole was also the recipient of Philanthropic Award in recognition of her numerous impact towards improving the wellbeing of the people.
In a chat with newsmen shortly after her award, Hon. Ohwovoriole said she was happy that the little things she was doing was being noticed new just as she again pledged her readiness to continue to put in her best for the good of the people.
