The Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency is in mourning following the passing of Pa Moses Ade Akinmade, a revered community leader, devoted Baptist Church member, and quintessential figure, at the remarkable age of 98.
Pa Akinmade’s life was a testament to his unwavering dedication, leadership, and faith. As a founding member of the First Baptist Church, Idanre he selflessly contributed to building the church and nurturing its growth. His mentorship and guidance inspired countless individuals, and his legacy lives on through his successful children, who embody the values he instilled in them.
Hon. Festus O. Akingbaso, Member of the House of Representatives, described Pa Akinmade as a shining star whose life radiated greatness. “Baba Akinmade’s passing leaves a void in our community, but his impact will be felt for generations to come. We mourn the loss of a loving father, compassionate community leader, dedicated Christian, and quintessential figure.”
The Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency has lost a true patriarch, and his absence will be deeply felt. However, his remarkable life and legacy serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration to the community.
On behalf of the constituency, Hon. Akingbaso extended heartfelt condolences to the Akinmade dynasty, praying for the repose of Pa Akinmade’s soul and granting the family the strength to bear this immense loss.
