Chief Sunday Owoyemi Opens Skills Acquisition Centre in Akure

The Oluomo 1 of Akure Kingdom, Chief (Dr) Sunday Owoyemi has stated that his Skills Acquisition Centre in Akure is billed for official launching on the 29th August, 2023.
Sunny Owo as popularly called is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Sunbeth Global Concept, a conglomerate of chain of businesses in Ondo State.
Speaking with PATH, the Akure born Philanthropist said his vision for the Skills Acquisition Centre was conceived with aim of providing opportunity for the less privileged in the society to acquire skills of their choices.
He said thousands of less privileged and indigents are wasting away and turned to beggars because of lack of means of livelihood, saying with the Centre, they can learn free of charge and later empower after the completion of their training at the Centre.
Oluomo stated that interested people will have ranges of Skills to learn from provided they are ready to learn. ” Barbing, Hair dressing, Welders, Tailoring, Beads Making, Make-Up, Soap Making among others are what we are going to train them for”.
He said the Foundation is a life time opportunity for the serious minded people in the society to equip themselves with skills that will cater for them and immediate family.
Sunny Owo charged the well to do in the society to always looks at way they can do to impact the lives of the indigents, noting that society will only be a better place to live if we empower the poor and needy.
Meanwhile, speaking on the rise in dollars equivalent to Naira, Sunny Owo said its has adverse effects on their business while appealing to the government and financial expert to rescue Nigeria Naira from total collapse.
