Barrister Kolawole Alonge has charged the Christians to remember the needy and less privileged as they merry in the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
Christmas is held across the world on the 25th December of every year in commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
Barrister Alonge who is a Senior Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Social Investment Programmes said Christmas celebration should be more than merry alone but should be a period of showing love and sharing gifts with the downtrodden in the society.
“As we celebrate yet another season of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, I call on all to make good use of the season to peace and love”.
He tasked all christians to reflect on the core values of christianity of sharing with the needy, giving and taking care of others.
Barrister Alone enjoined all to continue to observe the COVID-19 protocol during this season, saying health is wealth.
