Approved Collectibles: We Can’t Work Against Govt Directives Says OBHS Principal, Lauds Centralized Payment System
The Principal of Ondo Boys High School, Ondo City, Mr. Adekunle Alex has stated that, the school management won’t do contrary to the directive of Ministry of Education in regards to approved Collectibles.
Chatting with the PATH NEWS during the resumption monitoring, the Principal said the school adhered strictly to the Collectibles approved by the government, saying his leadership will continue to obey every directive of the Ministry of Education.
The New Principal of OBHS lauded the introduction of Centralized Payment System newly introduced by the government, noting that, the gateway account will aid accountability and transparency.
“I want to commend the State government via the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology under the leadership of Professor Igbekele Ajibefun as the commissioner for introducing gateway account, because the innovation will give room for transparency and accountability’.
Mr Alex advised parents to verify every information concerning the admissions of their wards before rushing to the press, saying no teacher or staff of the school will collect any money outside what the government approved.
He enjoined both the returning and new students to face their studies and continue to be good ambassador of the school.
