APC Chieftain, Hon. Bolodeoku Feyisola Bags Cocoa Development Icon Award

In recognition of his remarkable contributions to Cocoa business in Ondo State, D Chronicle Media Ventures has conferred Cocoa Development Award on Hon Bolodeoku Feyisola, a business man, former SSA and Chieftain of the ruling party All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State.

The Award investiture took place on Thursday, 11th of July at the OSPDC Event Hall Ijapo Estate Akure, Ondo State under the chairmanship of the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture and Forestry, Engr Leye Akinola.

Bolodeoku was selected based on his outstanding contribution to the State IGR and impactful contributions in promoting Cocoa business within and outside Ondo State.

Hon Bolodeoku was appointed Senior Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Produce, a call to serve the state, as a result of his unprecedented successes recorded in the field of Produce buying in Ondo State..

The programme is themed “Unlocking the Agricultural Tax Potentials: Strategies for Enhancing Ondo State IGR, was delivered by Prof. Igbekele Ajibefun, Honourable Commissioner for Education, Ondo State.

Speaking with the PATH, Bolodeoku thanked the management of D Chronicle Magazine for the great honor, promising not to relent in showcasing the rich cocoa being produced in Ondo State to the world.

He described Ondo State Cocoa as one of the best in the world, calling on the government and International agriculture agencies to continue to support farmers and Produce buyers with necessary tools and grants for more quality cocoa production.

Bolodeoku thanked Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, the Executive Governor of Ondo State for the appointment to serve under his government, saying he’s looking forward to more service to the state under his leadership.

The APC Chieftain further clarified that, Aiyedatiwa remains the number one leader of the party in Ondo State, saying nobody can contest that with him.

He urged the people of Ondo State to support the governor for more welfare packages, infrastructure development, adequate security, saying Aiyedatiwa is passionate about the well-being of the citizens and residents of the state.

Hon. Bolodeoku’s journey in the produce business began under the mentorship of renowned produce merchant, Mr. Johnson Akinsara, popularly known as Field Marshal. After spending six years mastering the trade, he ventured into independent cocoa buying in 1996 and steadily built a thriving enterprise that has remained relevant for over three decades.

Beyond commerce, he is also actively involved in farming, with interests in both cereal and cash crop production. His leadership within the agricultural community is evident in his role as President General of the Commodities Traders Association in Odigbo Local Government Area, where he has continued to champion the interests of produce merchants and farmers.

His influence extends beyond agriculture into public service and community development. He previously served as Supervisor for Agriculture and Natural Resources and later Supervisor for Health in Odigbo Local Government. He also served as Senior Special Assistant on Produce to the Ondo State Governor, contributing to policies and initiatives aimed at strengthening the produce sector.

A respected pastor, community leader, and advocate of good governance, Hon. Bolodeoku has earned admiration for his integrity, humanitarian efforts, and commitment to peaceful coexistence.

His impact has been felt not only in business and politics but also in the lives of many individuals and communities he has supported over the years.
