Akure South NULGE Re-elects Comrade Olasoji Oluwatuyi For Second Term

The Akure South Chapter of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Ondo State has reelected Comrade Olasoji Oluwatuyi for second term in office as the chairman of the union.

SOJ as popularly called was returned unopposed on Wednesday 27th February, 2024 where all members of the union unanimously asked him to continue in office having performed excellently well since assuming the leadership of the union in the Council.

Speaking with the PATH, Comrade Oluwatuyi thanked every member of the union for their support, love, and commitment saying he was able to succeed in his first term in office because of their maximum cooperation.

While appreciating them for passing vote of confidence in him for the second term in office, SOJ promised not to disappoint the confidence reposed in his leadership.

He assured them of robust working relationship with the government of Ondo State with intent to champion the welfare of the local government workers in Akure South.

SOJ specially thanked the State President of NULGE, Comrade Fredrick Akinrinlola and immediate past president, Comrade Bola Taiwo and other State Excos of the union for their support and advise throughout his first term tenure.

He also extended his appreciation to the Management of Akure South Local Government under the leadership of Comrade (Mrs) Modupe Omoloja for their cooperation, while looking forward to more robust relationship as he begins his second term.
