Akure South Council Boss, Fasua Commends Hon Kemisola Obamoyegun Over Women Empowerment
The Chairman of Akure-South Local Government Hon Gbenga Fasua has commended Hon Kemisola Obamoyegun empowerment and palliative distribution program for the women in Akure-South LG.
Speaking, the Chairman urged every supporters of the governor to emulate the kind gestures of Obamoyegun in reaching out to the people of the state.
On her part, Hon Kemisola Obamoyegun praised Governor Aiyedatiwa for prioritizing the welfare of women and appointing them in sensitive positions in his administration.
She added that the empowerment became necessary considering the economic reality of the country, saying the people of the state tend to benefit more if Govenor Aiyedatiwa is given the chance to govern the state beyond 2025.
In attendance were Commissioner for Energy and Minerals, Razaq Obe, the leaders of Akure-South APC, led by the party Chairman Hon Fesobi, the women leader of the local government, ward chairmen, ward women leaders among others.
