All roads lead to the ancient town of Akotogbo Kingdom on Friday, August 22, 2025 as His Imperial Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba (Barr.) Michael Elumaro Akinfolarin, Keneyin II, the Larogbo of Akotogbo Kingdom and Paramount Ruler of Akotogbo Land will install Hon Rotimi Wemimo Akinsola as the Bobajiro of the kingdom.
Hon Rotimi Wemimo Akinsola is the Senior Special Assistant on Agriculture and Agribusiness to Ondo State Governor, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
The SSA expressed profound gratitude to the monarch and the Council of Chiefs of Akotogbo for the chieftaincy title conferment, with a promise of using his goodwill and international connection to bring needed development to the kingdom.
His words: ” I thank His Imperial Majesty and his Council of Chiefs for this prestigious chieftaincy title to be conferred on me. I am humbled and the Kingdom can be assured of my loyalty and support”.
Hon Akinsola while pledging to utilize his skills and resources to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of Akotogbo Kingdom, appreciated God for his divine mercy over him.
The title of Bobajiro is traditionally bestowed on distinguished personalities who have made notable contributions to the socio-economic progress of the kingdom and are committed to its continued development.
With the installation of Hon Rotimi Wemimo Akinsola next week Friday, Akotogbo Kingdom will no doubt receive who-is-who from political, business, Agriculture circles across the country.
