Aftermath of realignment, Rep Akingbaso sponsors 5 bills in a day

Like a charged bull bursting into the Mexican matadors arena, Hon. Festus O. Akingbaso, MHR, Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency and the Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Aviation, today dazzled his way into the Green Chamber as he sponsored impactful five( 5) Bills as reflected in the Order Paper of the House of Representatives dated 3rd July, 2025. These extraordinary bills are poised to positively impact the lives of the Federal Constituency and country citizenry at large.

Legislation is primarily about lawmaking and other oversight functions, these were hampered because of platform, since Hon. Akingbaso has changed his pedestal to the majority niche, he is unbridled to achieve more at the National Assembly as he has a seamless navigation now.

These Bills are stated in the Federal House of Representatives Order Paper for today, July 3, 2025 as listed in numbers 6,7,8,9 and 10 respectively as he sponsored an establishment of Cocoa Research Institute, Idanre, being a hub of cocoa cultivation in Nigeria and establishment of the The Federal College of Health and Dental College, Ifedore as well as others.

All the bills were read and passed at the first reading, reacting, Rep Akingbaso said his passion for the development of the Federal Constituency is total and unwavering, he opined that the new political pedestal shall ease his position to lobby and influence developmental projects to the Federal Constituency. He assured that the bill for the establishment of ICT Institute, Idanre shall be read for the third time and passed in the Green Chamber as he is poised to expedite actions on it.
