Adelami, Oshin, Olakunde, Others To Grace Ist Ondo Teachers’ & Appreciation Award 2025

In recognizing and appreciating the noble works being done by teachers in Nigeria, the Management of the Gold Media Concept and News Connect Magazine will be honouring some outstanding teachers in Ondo State.
The maiden edition of the Prestigious Award is scheduled to hold on Thursday 2nd October, 2025 by 11:00am at the Pharmacy House, Alagbaka Akure, Ondo State, under the Chairmanship of Dr Olaide Adelami mni, the Deputy Governor of Ondo State.
The program will feature public lecture, award and magazine presentations, cultural display, music among others side attractions.
The Keynote Address will be delivered by the Proprietress of the Mummy’s Place International Schools, Akure.Dr (Mrs) Damilola Oshin.
In the same vein, Dr (Mrs) Susan Mopelola Olakunde, Head, Department of Entrepreneurship, Faculty of General Studies, Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo will speaks on the theme, Celebrating Teachers: The Unsung Heroes of Society, Recognizing their Values”.
Speaking with PATH, Comrade Adebayo Taiwo Gold, the Convener of the award program stated that, teachers are unsung heroes in the society, despite being the architect of every profession of human endeavors.
He added that, the programme was put together to acknowledge and appreciate the noble works of teachers, saying they need to be respected, honour and receive better renumeration like their counterpart in other professions.
” Teacher plays a vital role in shaping the future of students and recognizing their efforts and achievements is important for fostering motivation and a positive work environment”.
He called on government, corporate organizations and private individual to begin to encourage and motivate teachers, saying the future of any country lies on the commitment and dedication of teachers.
