Stop spreading False Information Against Ondo Finance Commissioner, Group Cautions

*PUBLIC NOTICE: CALL YOURSELF TO ORDER*
Attention: Individuals attempting to discredit the Hon. Commissioner of Finance, Owo Local Government, Ondo State.
It has come to our attention that certain individuals within owo local government are deliberately spreading false information and maligning the reputation of the Hon. Commissioner of Finance. Their sponsors, who have been funding their actions with 6 million naira monthly since their return from Abuja, are known. Yesterday, more funds were dispatched to the press to carry out this malicious campaign, even as the state celebrates Ondo at 50.
We urge these individuals to reconsider their actions, as they will face consequences. Releasing false information to the press without evidence is unacceptable. Any attempt to defame the Governor and the Commissioner of Finance will be met with legal action.
The Commissioner of Finance is a government official, not a party hierarchy or APC administrator. Attempts to drag her into partisan politics to satisfy personal interests will be resisted.
Their sponsors know what they’re doing; we’re aware too, and will take thorough action.
