The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Idanre Local Government of Ondo State has condemned in strong term the hijacking of the Christmas rice given to the party in Idanre by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, saying the duo of Hon Tajudeen Adefioye and Hon Adesoji Afolabi should as a matter of urgency return the rice to the rightful leadership of the party in the local government.
In a statement made available to the PATH, it was stated that, the xmas rice given to Idanre Local Government by Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa have being distributed to unapproved leaders in each ward without the knowledge of local govt party chairman and wards chairmen.
The Chairman, Hon Adeuti said the distribution of the rice by the duo of the former Member of House of Representatives, Hon Tajudeen Adefioye and Hon Adesoji Afolabi, Commissioner for Culture and Tourism is not acceptable to the party structure in Idanre.
He asked them to retrace their steps and do the needful by calling the party structures and release the rice to them before it is too late.
Hon Adeuti while calling the attention of the Governor and State Party Chairman to unruly behavior of the duo, asked all party stakeholders in the local government to remain calm and be peaceful in their conduct.
