Olu Kajola Eyin Ala Calls For Govt Intervention As Community Celebrate Day In Grandstyle

The Olu Kajola Eyin Ala in Akure North Local Government of Ondo State, Oba Ogunlade Alaba Owoyemi has called the attention of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to the infrastructural deficit of the community while pleading for urgent government intervention.

The Monarch made the call during the first edition of Kajola Eyin Ala Day 2025 held in the community amid funfare.

The monarch also asked the Executive Chairman of the local government to come to the rescue of the community, saying it shouldn’t be during electioneering campaign only they will visit the community for votes.

His words: ” We are calling on our Governor and Chairman of our local government to bring needed development to Kajola Eyin Ala. Politicians while soliciting for votes visit our community with promises but it is unfortunate that none of the promises were kept after getting our votes”.

He explained further that, the community lack good road, no drinkable water, dilapidated school, electricity, saying the community is living at the mercy of solar power light donated by one of the community’s son residing abroad.

” We are hopeful that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and our Council Chairman will soon come to our community. We need all these amenities to survive as a community”.

He monarch commended the giant strides of the Hunters who are providing security over the lives and property of the residents of the community and environs.

Meanwhile, speaking with some indigenes and residents of the community, they described the monarch as a kind loving person, cheerful giver, accommodating and focused monarch that wants the best for both indigenes and non indigenes of the community.
