Surveyor Oludare Kayode Shines Again, Bags African Youth Development Parliament Award

An Akure based multiple awards winning Surveyor, Oludare Kayode has again added another feather to his cap as the African Youth Development Parliament (AYDP) conferred award of Outstanding Surveyor in Africa on him.
The AYDP crew were in Akure, capital City of Ondo State on Thursday, 13th 2025 where the industrious and Philanthropist surveyor was decorated amid encomium from the Parli hiament and well wishers that grace the occasion.
Speaking, the Speaker of the Parliament, Rt Hon Wealth Akerele, the first Nigerian to be elected as Speaker of the African Youth Development Parliament (AYDP) congratulated Surveyor Oludare for making the list of eminent Nigerians to be conferred with the prestigious Honour.
He noted that, the African Youth Development Parliament is a pan-African platform established to amplify the voices of young leaders, shape public policy, and strengthen cooperation among African states through active youth participation in governance.
The Speaker added that, the outstanding contributions of Surveyor Oludare in Surveying development in Ondo State and Nigeria caught the attention of the Youth Body which eventually led to the conferment.
Wealth Akerele stated that while some prominent people in the country are begging the organization with millions of Naira to be conferred with the award, he noted that, the integrity of the organization take centre stage in all its dealings.
He urged the award recipient not to relent in promoting younger ones mostly in the surveying profession, adding that youths are the future of not only Nigeria but Africa as a whole.
In his reaction, Surveyor Oludare thanked the leadership of AYDP for counting him worthy as recipient of one of the highest honour from the body.
He promised to continue to contribute to the development of surveying, a profession that brought recognition to him within and outside Nigeria.
Surveyor Oludare charged the body to continue to champion youth engagement both politically and economically across Africa countries saying the future of Africa continent begins with them.
While Congratulating Rt Hon Wealth Akerele for making history of becoming the first Nigerian from Ondo State to be elected as Speaker of the Youth Parliament, he urged him to write his name in gold and set a record that will stand his tenure out.
On the entourage of the Speaker were the Clerk of the House and other distinguished members of the parliament.
