The Chief Executive Officer of the Bolat Concept Graphic, Mr Stephen Boluwaji has received Award of Excellence from News Connect Magazine.
Prof as popularly called by his clients is one of the leading professional Graphic Designers in Ondo State, standing tall among his contemporaries in the field.
Celebrating its third anniversary, News Connect Magazine conferred categories of award on eminent Nigerians that have contributed to the development of the society and mankind in their different fields of endeavors.
The three in one event, award, public lecture and publication of special edition to celebrate its teeming followers took place at First Molac Hotel, Akure, on Sunday 30th, March 2025.
The theme of the anniversary lecture” Treachery Looting: Nigeria and the Cleavages of Corruption’ was delivered by the keynote speaker, Prof Isaac Aladegbola, Deputy Vice Chancellor Crawford University, and the guest lecturer was Prof Olukayode Arogundade, Former ASUU chairman, Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti.
In his speech, Prof Aladegbola highlighted the issue of treasury looting, saying it gained prominence during former President Mohammadu Buhari’s first anniversary speech, where he listed the recovery of significant assets looted from nigeria’s treasury. He added that despite the then president’s promise of recovering the loots, nothing was done and looting is now a common sight in Nigeria democracy.
Also, the guest lecturer, Prof Olukayode Arogundade, Former ASUU chairman, Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, highlighted how the electorates easily shift blames of the country’s failure to the politicians without considering who empowered the politicians. He’s of the opinion that though politicians make empty promises, the electorates should understand that the key to the political post is in their hands.
Speaking at the event, the Publisher of News Connect Magazine, Taiwo Adebayo-Gold, described the Magazine as a brand in the media designed to give cutting-edge information to its readers.
Chatting with the PATH, Bolat Concept CEO thanked the publisher of News Connect for counting him worthy for the Prestigious Award saying the honor is a motivation to continue to give his best at all time.
He added that, professionalism and daily improvement in one skills will definitely bring the best output, while urging his colleagues in the field to upgrade themselves in line with the 21st century graphic designing.
He dedicated the award to all his customers who so much believe in his ability, saying the honour is an endorsement from them.
