34th Ekimogun Day: Ayotunde Bally Congratulates Osemawe, Harps on Unity Among Indigenes

Engr Ayotunde Akinola Bally, a renowned philanthropist has joined notable sons and daughters of Ondo Kingdom to congratulate the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, Oba Victor Kiladejo on the 34th Ekimogun Day celebration held at Civic Center, Ondo City.
Ekimogun Day is an annual event held on 4th December of every year where all sons and daughters of the ancient town come home to celebrate the cultural heritage of the kingdom.
Aside display of the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the town, it is a day that brings every sons and daughters of the ancient town together and fund raising for the developmental projects that will further transform the town.
Speaking with the PATH, Engr Bally congratulates the monarch and indigenes of the town both home and abroad for witnessing another edition of Ekimogun despite the menace of Covid-19 pandemic.
Engr Bally commended the leadership of Osemawe ever since he ascended the throne, saying people of the kingdom have more to celebrate considering the numbers of development and transformation the town has witnessed.
In his words, ” Through the monarch ingenuity, he has created an atmosphere of peace, harmony and unity among the indigenes and non indigenes residing in Ondo City.
He charged every indigene of the town to endeavour to contribute their best quota to the development of the town, adding that he will continue to do things that will transform the town and add value to the lives of the people must especially the downtrodden.
Bally tasked Ondo indigenes on the need to be united and be their brothers’ keeper, noting that with unity and togetherness, more development will come to Ondo Kingdom.
Meanwhile, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Victor Kiladejo stressed the need for every of his subjects to join hands for the development of the town.
The Monarch pledged his readiness to ensure Ondo City stands tall among comity of towns in Ondo State. He commended various clubs and associations for supporting his vision of transforming the town.
