32 Artillery Brigade has disowned one CPL Victor Innocent who was paraded by Ondo State Command of the Nigeria Police Force for armed robbery.
In a press release by the Brigade through the Army Public Relations Officer (APRO), Captain Ayorinde Omojokun, he stated that Victor Innocent is not a serving Army personnel of the 32 Brigade Artillery and also never worked as a Nigerian Army personnel.
Innocent Victor was arrested along side one David Friday, a new recruited Police Constable for stealing motorcycle and conspiring with the soldier to rob another victims with a dagger.
According to the Commissioner of Police, Bolaji Salami, “He was being tried for that motorcycle theft when he was caught conspiring with a soldier to rob some people with a dagger. We paraded them and the victims identified them. Other victims came and identified them. When we are done with our investigation, we will charge them to court.”
In what has been trending on social media, Innocent Victor was reported to be a serving Army officer with the 32 Artillery Brigade, Nigerian Army, Owena Cantonment.
The Brigade asked the public to disregard the news story linking the arrested soldier to 32 Artillery Brigade.

The attention of 32 Artillery Brigade has been drawn to the publication on social media purportedly about CPL Innocent Victor as a soldier serving with 32 Artillery Brigade.
The Brigade is using this medium to inform the general public that Mr Innocent Victor is not serving Army personnel of 32 Artillery Brigade and never worked as a Nigerian Army personnel.
