2027: HON FUNSHO OLASHENI “ALEIBA” PICKS ADC TICKET FOR AKOKO SOUTHWEST CONSTITUENCY 1 ASSEMBLY RACE
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially affirmed Hon Funsho Joseph Olasheni (Aleiba) as its candidate for the 2027 House of Assembly election for Akoko Southwest Constituency 1.
The affirmation which took place amidst overwhelming support from party leaders and stakeholders signals a renewed commitment by the party to purposeful leadership, quality representation, and people-oriented governance.
Party leaders and members commended the peaceful process, noting that the affirmation arrangement reflected the shared determination to present a strong, credible, and people-oriented candidate ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Speaking shortly after emerging as the party’s candidate, Aleiba as popularly called appreciated members of the ADC and supporters across the Constituency for the confidence reposed in him.
He reaffirmed his commitment to bring dividends of good governance to the door steps of every resident of the Constituency
He further assured constituents that his election to the State Assembly would usher in a new era of responsive representation, effective legislation, and sustainable development among the people of the Constituency.
He reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots development, youth empowerment, quality representation, and inclusive governance.
” I am assuring our leaders, party faithful and residents of my Constituency that I will provide purposeful leadership and effective representation at the Ondo State House of Assembly”.
Hon Olasheni also called on members of the party to remain united, peaceful, and committed as the party prepared for the next phase of political engagement and mobilization across the constituency.
