A leading voice in the politics of Ondo State, Hon Adeniran Adeolu popularly called ADX has joined the race to represent Akure South Constituency 2 in the State House of Assembly.
ADX, a member of the People’s Democratic Party is one politician that has carved a niche for himself, with intimidating political and academic credentials that well position him as the best to represent the good people of Akure South Constituency 2.
Speaking with newsmen at the Party Secretariat in Akure after submitting his nomination form, ADX has signified his readiness to change the narratives of poor representation, with determination to bring dividend of good governance to the people of his constituency.
He said he joined the race to bring desirable development, transformation, dividend of good governance to his constituent which seems to have be neglected for years due to poor representation of the current representative who has not attracted meaningful development to the constituency.
‘ My people deserve the best and they need capable person to represent them at the state assembly. If am elected, every member of the constituent will enjoy dividend of democracy”.
ADX added that, he will use his good office to bring developmental projects to the constituency aside making good laws that will affect the betterment of the people.
‘ My primary duty as a lawmaker is making laws but my constituent could be assured of quality laws that will drive home quality education, health facility and infrastructures”.
He assured market women, artisans, widows, aged and youths of empowerment programmes within the available resources at his disposal.
He further disclosed that he will focus more attention on youth development saying the time of the youth taking centre politics of the state has finally come.
ADX appealed to the delegates to give him the necessary support in the forthcoming primaries, saying his emergence as the party’s flag bearer will usher in better representation and all inclusive tenure.
“I don’t have godfathers, Almighty God is my godfather; I am relying on the votes and support of leaders and delegates to win the primaries”.
