The Senior Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Social Investment Programme, Barr Felix Alonge has paid a Thank-You-Visit to the people of the Okia Community in Oka-Akoko over the victory of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the just concluded 2023 General Elections.
The SSA yesterday Monday 3rd of April 2023 alongside Hon Luke Balogun, Councillor for Ward 3 KOSU and some APC leaders expressed their appreciation to the good people of Okia Community for voting massively for APC Candidates in all the elections.
He stated that the people of Okia Community voted in mass for the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator – Elect Pastor Jide Ipinsagba, MHR-Elect Hon Gboyega Adefarati and Hon.Emmanuel Gbogi for House of Assembly who were all candidates of the ruling APC.
It could be recalled that Barr Alonge won his Unit 1 Ward 3 KOSU for the APC MHA Candidate, the Presidential, Senatorial and House of Representatives candidates respectively.
The Community Leaders and Members of APC in Okia were highly delighted to received Alonge and other APC leaders in his entourage, commending them for the historic appreciation visit after election has been won and lost.
While promising to continue to cooperate with Governor Akeredolu in fulfilling his promises to the good people of Ondo State, the Community Leaders solicited for developmental projects as reward for their commitment for the Victory of APC at the Elections.
Barr Alonge assured them that government would reciprocate the amazing support of Okia Community.
Meanwhile, the thank you visit coincided with the traditional Monthly Community Meetings across the three Quarters of Isunmoke, Isabodo and Igede in Okia where the delegation attended all the meetings at the various Venues.
