2023: Ondo Muslim Welfare Board Chairman, Chandy Drums Support for Tinubu

The Chairman of the Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board, Alhaji Zikirullah Adam Chandy has appealed to voters in the Sunshine State to cast their votes for the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu in the February 25 election.

He made the appeal while chatting with the PATH during the public lecture and prayer organized by the League of Imams in Akure, Ondo State.

The chairman stated that, out of the candidates in the race, Tinubu stands out going by his track record of achievements as the governor of a state with the largest economy in Nigeria, Lagos State.

According to him, ” Out of the candidates in the race, the Islamic model of Muslim-Muslim/Personality favours Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of others. His track record in Lagos State will be replicated in all the 36 states and Federal Capita if elected the president of Nigeria”.

He stated that the personality of the APC candidate, his capability cum Islamic consideration placed in him in vantage position to become the next president of Nigeria.

Alhaji Chandy urged the voters to vote massively for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima on the February 25 election for a better Nigeria of our dreams.

He appealed to everyone to partake in the forthcoming election, saying it is part of their civil duties to exercise their franchise and vote for leader that can transform the country.

He expressed confident in Prof Yakubu Mahmood leadership of INEC in conducting free, fair and credible election, assuring Nigerians that current scarcity of new naira notes and fuel won’t lead to postponement of the February 25 Presidential election.
