2023: MOP Tasks Nigerian Youths On Leadership, Bags Diaspora Ambassador Award

Asiwaju Muyiwa-Ojo Polar has called on Nigerian youths to prepare themselves for political leadership ahead of 2023 general election, saying their future begin now.

MOP as popularly called stated this at the Annual Lecture and Awards of South West Heralds Magazine held at College of Agriculture, Akure, Ondo State.

He aspired to represent the people of Ekiti Centre Federal Constituency 2 at the House of Representatives.

In recognition of his giant strides in building humanity and contributing to the development of others within and outside Nigeria, South West Heralds conferred on him Distinguished Diaspora Ambassador Award.

Speaking, the publisher of the magazine, Olutayo Moses Adu congratulated the lucky awardees for making the list in this year annual award and lecture.

He said the awardees were painstakingly selected based on popular votes from the members of the public among other parameter.

MOP who was represented by Comrade Ebenezer described Nigerians youth as very active and critical stakeholders in the project Nigeria, urging them to begin to grow themselves for leadership of the country.

He said: “Nigerians youth have all the veritable platform to aspire for political offices as power will not be handed to them on a platter of gold”.

He challenged the youth to be at the forefront and not to be used by the aged politicians for selfish ambition.

” To tell you that Nigerians youth have begun to take their rightful position in Nigeria politics, a 30 years Henrich Akomolafe from Ikere local government of Ekiti State is the candidate of the People’s Democratic party for House of Representatives”.

“If the youth want their impact to be felt, they must join active politics; the old politicians will not leave the centre of politics for them on a platter of gold. They must fight for what is rightly belong to them.”.

MOP was born to a noble and respected family in Efon Alaaye in Ekiti State. He obtained Business Management from Grand Canyon University, USA. He was the pioneer chairman of Aquinas college Old Students Association, North America.

He established his first company Selek Systems in 1995 in Ikeja, Lagos, today MOP owns one of the biggest and largest fast rising business and companies in Nigeria and abroad.

He has contributed immensely to the development of his community and also empowered many youths in business, scholarship, monthly stipend for the olds among others which encourage the people to support his political ambition.
