LG Poll: Allow Credible Election, PDP Councillorship Candidate Tells Aiyedatiwa

Ahead of the Local Government Election in Ondo State, the Councillorship Candidate under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon Fagbolagun Oluropo Williams has appealed to the governor of the state to ensure free, fair and credible polls saying the votes of the people must count.
Ondo State Independence Electoral Commission (ODIEC) has slated January 18, 2025 for local government election in the state.

In a Press Statement made available to the PATH, Wiliwinco as popularly called is contesting for Councillor in Ilara Mokin Ward 2 in Ifedore Local Government under PDP.
He doubles as the Special Adviser on Media to Hon Festus Akingbaso, Member House of Representatives, Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency and Deputy Governorship Candidate of the PDP in the recently concluded governorship election in Ondo State.
He stated that, if ODIEC is given free hands to conduct credible polls without the intervention of the State Governor, the vote of the electorate will count and the best candidate would emerge victorious.
Wiliwinco cautioned the state electoral body from playing into the hands of the people in government saying the body must be professional and conduct the election in accordance with the rules and laid down guildelines of the poll.

While urging the people of Ifedore Local Government to come out enmass and vote for all candidates of the People’s Democratic Party, he asked them not to be intimidated saying their votes will definitely count.
” Considering my past antecedents as a young politician that is passionate about the capital and human development of my community and people, your votes for me is votes for better service and development. I know your needs and if elected, I will ensure dividend of good governance reach Ilara Mokin Ward 2″.
