Fiwasaye Girls’ Grammar School Holds 2022 Xmas Carol

Fiwasaye Girls’ Grammar School Akure has joined Christians all over the world to celebrate 2022 Xmas Carol amidst glitz and glam at the school auditorium.

It was an annual event where staff, students and Parents of the college come together to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

The principal of the school, Mrs Temitope Ojoge read the 4th lesson while a former Head of Service, Chief Kosemani Kolawole read the 3rd lesson, while the college chaplain delivered sermon.

Leading the school choir was the FOGA President, Mrs Funwa Agbi, aside special Xmas songs from the invited secondary schools among which were St Louis Grammar School, Akure, African Church Comprehensive High School, Akure and others.

Speaking, the Principal of the school, Mrs Temitope Ojoge tasked students, Teachers and Parents to reflect on the birth of Jesus Christ saying Xmas Celebration should goes beyond merriment but should be more on why Jesus was born into the world.

Mrs Funwa Agbi, the National President of FOGA admonished christians to show love, remember the less privileged as they celebrate the birth of Christ, saying Jesus Christ is an epitome of love.

In his goodwill message, Rev Ogunsusi asked christians to hold to the tenets of Christianity, teaching of Jesus Christ and love their neighbors as themselves.

He further said the best way to celebrate Xmas is by giving their lives to Christ and embrace him as their Lord and Savior.

On his part, Revd Nelson Fadoju, Chairman Governing Board of the school congratulated the principal, FOGA and management of the school for a successful 2022 Xmas Carol while charging Christians to hold to Jesus Christ at all times.

Dignitaries in attendance includes, Mrs Kolawole Kosemani, former Head of Service, Revd Nelson Fadoju, Revd Eyinla, Revd Ogunsusi, Mrs Funwa Agbi, National President of FOGA, Mrs Temitope Ojoge, the School Principal, all the Vice Principals, staff among others.
