Ondo State Chapter of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, following his victory at the Supreme Court which upheld his election as Governor of the Sunshine State.
In a message signed by the State Chairman of the Trade Union, Comrade Clement Fatuase described the verdict as “a triumph of democracy and the rule of law,” noting that the judgment has finally put to rest the legal contest over the November 16, 2024 governorship election.
He called for unity and cooperation among the people of Ondo State saying now that litigation and distraction are over, the Governor can fully focus on good governance the people of the state have been enjoying under his leadership.
Fatuase remarked that the decision of the apex court has provided clarity, stability, and renewed confidence in Ondo State’s democratic process, while affirming the overwhelming mandate freely given to Governor Aiyedatiwa by the people.

“On behalf of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) Ondo State Chapter, I heartily congratulate Your Excellency on this well-deserved victory. We are confident that this development will further energize you to focus fully on your governance agenda and deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of Ondo State,” the statement read.
” We remain committed in supporting good governance, accountability, and transparency in the state, and we are optimistic that your government will continue to prioritize workers welfare in Ondo State”.
