Ondo State Artisan Groups (OSAG) has extended words of appreciation to the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa over the Easter gift to the umbrella body of artisans in Ondo State.
In a press statement released and signed by the State Publicity Secretary of the group, Com Niran Emmanuel Oni said the governor kind gesture to the group is unprecedented in the history of the state.
He said the President-General of Artisans in Ondo State under the leadership of Comrade (Apst) Adefioye Gbenga Gure can’t but thank the governor who out of the little resources of the state deem it fit to remember artisans in the state during the Easter period.
” We can’t but thank our amiable and Artisans Loving Governor for his kind gesture to our members since assumption of office. Mr Governor continuous support and cooperation with the leadership of our group is highly commendable”.
He added that, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is the first governor in Ondo State to appoint Special Adviser on Artisan Matters, which implies that he holds artisan in high esteem in his government.
” We are not ungrateful people and to show our appreciation, we overwhelmingly voted for the re-election of Mr Governor in the November 16 Governorship Election. Mr Governor can be assured of our support always”.
OSAG promised to continue to support Governor Aiyedatiwa in all his policies and programmes while charging his government to continue to patronize the service of artisans in the state.
