The multiple awards winning Director of Account at the Oyemekun Grammar School Akure (OGSA), Comrade Fisayo Fapohunda has added another feather to his cap as Western Youth Development Forum (WYDEF) conferred Youth Ambassador Award on him.
The award ceremony was held at the Assembly Ground of the “ONLY SCHOOL” amidst accolades on Tuesday 28th January, 2025.
Speaking, the National President of WYDEF Prince Oyedele congratulated the recipient of the prestigious award saying his outstanding contributions to education and humanity earned him the honour.
His words: ” Our organization beam our searchlight on your activities and we considered you for this Prestigious Award in Ondo State. We can only urge you to continue to contribute your quota to the development of education and accounting profession”.
On his part, the Principal of Oyemekun Grammar School Akure, Mr Oluyide Adeniyi congratulated Comrade Fapohunda saying the school will continue to celebrate excellence.
He described the award as well deserved, noting that within the shortest period as the principal of the only school, Fapohunda has proven to him as a highly cerebral person and man of high moral standard..
Responding, Comrade Fapohunda who doubles as the state Chairman of the Conference of Bursars of Secondary schools (COBUSS) thanked the leadership of the NGO for the recognition, promising to always contribute to the education sector within and outside Ondo State.
” As the Ambassador of the WYDEF, I won’t disappoint the confidence repose in me. I will continue to contribute my quotas to the education development within and outside Ondo State”.
