A Chieftain of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, Engr Wasiu Fase has joined other well-wishers to congratulate the people of Ikota Community on the 2024 New Yam Festival.
Ikota Community is an agrarian community in Ifedore Local Government Area Council of Ondo State.
New Yam Festival is an annual event that brought all the sons and daughters of Ikota Community together as the town is usually beams with different activities to celebrate the day.
In his goodwill message, Engr Fase Congratulated the people of the town while asking them to thank Almighty God for the grace to witness the 2024 Yam Festival.
The PDP Chieftain urged the people of the community to always prioritize love and unity, noting that, it’s only a place where there’s peace and harmony that development will take place.
He appealed to the Youth of Ikota to always be their brothers keeper and shun social vices that can tarnish the image of the town.
Alaafin as popularly called charged the people of the community to vote for party and candidate with blue print of development for Ikota Community in the November 16 Governorship Poll saying the current APC led government both at the state and federal levels are scam with nothing to offer aside poverty and insecurity.
