Iresi of Osi Installs Chief Lanre Adekunle As Mayegun of Osi Kingdom

As part of the activities marking the 10th coronation anniversary of the Iresi of Osi Kingdom in Akure North Local Government of Ondo State, His Imperial Majesty, Oba David Olajide Okunato (Ilufemiloye 1) has conferred Chieftaincy Title on Chief Lanre Adekunle as the Mayegun of Osi Kingdom.
Speaking, Oba Olajide said the good deed and humanity services of Chief Adekunle better positioned him as the best for the prestigious title of Mayegun of Osi Kingdom.
He enjoined him to continue to use his God given resources and connections to work toward the development of the town.
Speaking with the PATH, Chief Lanre Adekunle thanked the monarch for the honour, promising to always collaborate with the monarch to move Osi to the next level of development.
The Mayegun further solicited for the support of the community mostly the youth, adding that with the cooperation of every stakeholder, Osi will soon become the envy of neighbouring towns in Akure North.
