Ondo 2024: Balogun Ndigbo of Idanre Preaches Peace Ahead of November 16 Governorship Poll

The Balogun of Ndigbo in Idanre Local Government, High Chief Kingsley Chukmuma has appealed to all the Ndigbos residing in Idanre and Ondo State to allow peace to reign before, during and after the November 16 Governorship Election in the state.
High Chief Kingsley who doubles as the Ochendu of Ndigbo in Ondo State made this passionate appeal during the rally of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Idanre on Tuesday, 5th November, 2024.
He led Igbos resident in the ancient town on solidarity rally with the governor who he described as People’s Governor who don’t discriminate against non indigenes.
He warned Igbos residing in Idanre and environs against violence, asking them to approach the election with caution by voting and not engaging in electoral malpractice.
The Igbo Leader implored them to freely exercise their franchise by voting for the candidate of their choice, noting that it is their civic responsibility to do so.
He described Igbos in the state as peace loving people that prioritize their businesses above other things, urging them not to trucate the peaceful coexistence among the Idanre people and Igbos.

Lemmy as popularly called added that, Governor Aiyedatiwa had worked hard to entrench peace in Ondo State and nobody should hide under the guise of election to create crisis in the state .
He enjoined all to shun violence and unlawful conduct saying whoever runs contrary to the rules of the election will have themselves to blame.
