LG Election: Hon Ogundare Waheed Receives Certificate of Return, thanks Gov Aiyedatiwa, Adetimehin, Fabiyi, Others

The newly elected Councillor representing Ore Ward 10 in Odigbo Local Government Area Council, Hon Ogundare Waheed has assured of his readiness to work with the chairman of the local government for the good of the people saying he clearly appreciates the opportunity to serve.
He gave this remark while speaking with PATH shortly after receiving his certificate of return as Councillor-Elect at Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) office in Akure.
The excited Councillor thanked Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for giving him the chance to fly the party ticket in the just concluded local government election where he came victorious.

Hon Ogundare said having eyed the Councillorship seat severally, he can’t but thank the governor, State Party’s Chairman, Engr Ade Adetimehin, Local Government and Ward Chairmen and other leaders in Ore Ward 10 for presenting him as a sole candidate of All Progressive Congress without opposition.
He also thanked people of his constituency for believing in him and for voting massively for all candidates of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Earlier, ODIEC Chairman Dr. Joseph Aremo congratulated the councillors-elect and urged them to remain law-abiding while carrying out their official duties to positively impact the lives of people at the grassroots level.
Dr. Aremo described the elections as a true reflection of the people’s will and a testament to the commission’s commitment to conducting free, fair, and credible polls.

He also advised the councillors-elect to handle their certificates with care, noting that lost certificates would not be reissued.
