Canada Based Philanthropist Gifted Mother of Triplets Delivered At Sckye Hospitals N3.5m

A Canada based medical doctor has gifted one Mrs Balogun, a mother of triplets the sum of three million and five hundred thousand Naira (#3.5m) to start a business in Ondo State.
It could be recalled that, Mrs Balogun delivered triplets at Sckye Hospitals, Akure earlier this year.
Sckye Hospitals is one facility in Ondo State that cater for mothers of multiple births, from free delivery, provision of financial assistance, gift items among others free medical services.
Following the delivery of the Balogun triplets, the hospital management informed one of the partners of Dr Thomas Wilson-Ikubese, the Chief Medical Director, a Canada based medical doctor Philanthropist, Dr Ogbemudia, who practices in Canada about the plight of the triplets mother.
Dr Ogbemudia has been consistently rendering philanthropic gestures to the hospital triplet families over the years, courtesy of his good and cordial relationship with the hospital CMD.
According to the Statement from the Hospital: ” Dr Ogbemudia asked that we should ask the triplet Mummy what manner of assistance she needs, to which she sent us a list of items she requires to start a pastries and cuisine business, totaling three million five hundred thousand naira (#3,500,000)”.
” This morning, at 6.28am, Dr Ogbemudia sent the sum of three million, five hundred thousand naira (#3,500,000) to the account of our CMD in response to the request.”
The N3.5 million sent to the Triplets Mother is not a loan but a gift to support her business. In line with the hospital policy, the Director of Administration of the hospital will accompany Mrs Balogun to procure the items on the list as they do not hand over cash to beneficiaries”.
Speaking with the PATH, while thanking Dr Ogbemudia and his lovely wife for their constant support and assistance to mother of multiple births at the hospital facility, Dr Ikubese charged the blessed in the society to continue to remember the less privileged in their budget.
He charged Mrs Balogun to make judicious use of the opportunity given to her, saying the welfare of the triplets should be paramount to her.
