The former Deputy Governor in Ondo State, Hon Agboola Ajayi has won the Governorship primary of the People Democratic Party, polling 264 votes to defeat other six aspirants in the race.
The governorship primary that was held today Thursday 25th April 2024 at The Dome International Event Centre Akure, has a total number of 621 delegates voting for all the seven aspirants.
Other aspirants in the race are Otunba Benson Akingboye polled 24 votes, Hon Victor Akinjo 157 votes, Engr Akinwumi Harrison 64 votes, Hon Ola John Mafo 9 votes, Chief Sola Ebiseni 99 votes and Arebuwa Tunbosu 2 Votes.
