APC State Pioneer Excos Drum Support for Aiyedatiwa, Demand For Party Restructuring At All Levels

The Pioneer State Executives of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State has demanded for reviewing and restructuring of the party structure at all levels of the state while drumming support for the Acting Governor of the state, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

The elders and the Pioneer APC State Executives jointly issued a Communique at the end of the meeting held at the Akure on Monday 18th December, 2023 where they agreed to work and make sure that their party and Acting Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa succeed in getting the state back to its feet.

The Elders deliberated on the current situation in the party and State where they unambiguously agreed on certain conditions that we move the State forward.

In the commuique, the elders agreed that the party structures at all levels be reviewed and restructured critically to allow the pioneer members who have been hitherto excommunicated by the Adetimehin led Executives be allowed to participate actively in the running of the party and the governace.

Also, that the LCDAs as presently Constituted be reviewed in view of the pending litigation in Courts.

It was also agreed that as a matter of urgency, they must humbly appeal that the Acting Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa should please meet the pioneer executives of the party to discuss and give them hope which has been denied them for a long time.

The Elders prayed that Almighty God should continue to guard, guide and grant the Acting Governor a resounding successful administration as he pilot the affairs of Ondo State.

The Communique was signed by Alhaji (Barr) B.D. Asani ( Pioneer Assistant State Secretary), Hon Tito Babalola ( Pioneer LG Party Chairman), Elder Ayo Alogba (Pioneer LG Party Chairman), Hon Ikuepenikan Olumide (Pioneer LG Party Chairman) and Otunba Agboola Kelly (Secretary, APC Elders Caucus).
