ODHA Minority Leader, Oguntodu Lays Market Foundation, Gives Free JAMB Forms

In fulfilment of his campaign promises to his constituent, the minority leader at the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olajide Oguntodu has laid the foundation of a market in Ilekun town.

Residents of Ilekun town in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State were overwhelmed with joy during the market foundation laying ceremony on Saturday 15th February, 2025 in company of the Elekun of Ilekun, HRM, Oba Omolewo Benjamin Olorunfemi and other prominent sons and daughters of the town.

Speaking with the PATH, the lawmaker thanked the people of Ilekun for their support and understanding even as he solicited for their cooperation towards the successful completion of the project.

His words: “I give Almighty God the glory for this privilege to serve my people diligently. My sincere appreciation goes to the residents of Ilekun for their support and love for me. I humbly request for their maximum cooperation in a bid to complete this market building in due time”.

In his words, Oba Omolewo Benjamin Olorunfemi eulogized Oguntodu for fulfilling his promises commending his good representation since he was elected into the House.

The Monarch added that, the immediate past lawmaker representing the constituency didn’t have any positive impact in the community throughout his four years in office, saying in less than two years in office, Oguntodu has added smile to the people faces.

The Royal Father showered encomium and prayed for the Minority Leader while urging him to continue the good works.

On a similar note, the Ilekun Youth leader, Mr Jide Adelusimo who could not conceal his joy, thanked the donor for his good gesture while beckoning on other political leaders to emulate his good-will.

Meanwhile, Hon. Olajide Oguntodu had given two hundred free JAMB forms to his constituents recently and also paid for their coaching fees.
