Alaaye of Aaye, Oba Peter Adeoye To Receive S/W Achievers’ Award Nov 2nd

All roads lead to the Capital City of Ondo State, Akure on Sunday 2nd November, 2025 where the Alaaye of Aaye Kingdom, HRM, Oba Peter Adeoye Alanuloluwa Adeleye will be inducted into South West Achievers Hall of Fame.
Southwest Achievers Hall of Fame is an annual event where outstanding sons, daughters and residents of the Southwest region of Nigeria are celebrated for individual’s performances in different fields of human endeavors.
The Award has category of nominations and Oba Adeleye was carefully selected and considered as South West Transformational Royal Father of the Year based on the innovative and transformational development the ancient town of Aaye has experienced under his reign.
The Converner of the award, Path Multi-media Venture, the publisher of the PATH NEWS MAGAZINE considered Oba Adeleye for the prestigious honour having perused his credentials and impactful contributions to the society.
Awardees in other categories include Mr Okafor Wallace, Manager, CBN, Akure Branch, Dr Dayo Faduyile OON, former NMA National President, Hon Mallon Ogbaro, Executive Director, OSOPADEC, Hon Tomide Akinribido, Executive Chairman, Ondo State Information Technology Agency among others.
The history making event is to be chaired by Barr D. I. Kekemeke,, Chairman of the Nigeria Postal Service, as Olumafon of Imafon, Oba Aliu Samuel Adegbehingbe is the royal father of the day. The Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and Hon Bunmi Tunji Ojo, Honourable Minister of Interior are the special Guest of Honor respectively among other dignitaries that will grace the occasion.
The Head of Department, Mass Communication, Achievers University Owo, Dr Gbenga Abimbola will deliver lecture on the theme ” 2027 Poll:: Prioritizing Regional Politics Over National Interest: Effects and consequences on Nation’s Building”.
Other programmes line up for the event include launching of the PATH LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION, a foundation programed to cater for the less privileged, unveiling of Special Brochure and award presentation among others.
