Akure South LG Management Pays Courtesy Visit To OSRC

The Management of the Akure South Local Government led by the Council Transition Committee Chairman, Hon Gbenga Fasua paid courtesy visit to the management of the state owned television station, OSRC yesterday, Tuesday 7th August, 2024.

The Transmission Committe was received by the Chairman of OSRC, Mr Kunle Adebayo who commended the visitation of the leadership of the local government.

Speaking, Hon Fasua said the visitation became necessary saying the local government is looking forward to a robust relationship and partnership with the council.

He charged the station to always project the activities of the council, noting that as the only State Government Owned television station in the state, they are saddle with the responsibility of promoting the activities of government in the state, local government inclusive.

In his response, Mr Kunle Adebayo thanked them for the working visit, promising to be partner in progress and always prioritize the reportage of the council’s activities.

He also appreciated the governor for his support and commitment to the station saying OSRC is the only viable television station in the state that is fair in its news reportage.

The delegation to the Station also included the Head of Local Government (HOLGA) Akure South, Mrs Dupe Omoloja and other staff members.
