Democracy Day: Hon Adeola Musa Felicitates With Owo People, Says Democracy Still The Best

Hon. Adeola Taoheed Musa (ATM), a leading candidate for Owo Constituency 2 has congratulated the people of Owo on the occasion of the 2026 Democracy Day celebration.
In his democracy message, ATM as popularly called said inspite of the challenges bedevilling the country, democracy is still the best form of government for the masses.
He emphasized the historic significance of June 12, a date that remains deeply symbolic in Nigeria’s democratic journey, marking the landmark 1993 presidential election widely regarded as a turning point in the nation’s struggle for democratic governance and the mandate of the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola.
He added that, June 12 will forever remain a reminder of the resilience of Nigerians in the pursuit of justice, freedom, and true democracy, asking the people of Owo not to be discouraged with the recent outcome of the primary conducted by the ruling party in the state, saying justice will definitely prevail.
Hon. Adeola saluted President Tinubu for his commitment to strengthening democratic governance and addressing the nation’s economic and security challenges.
He expressed confidence that, with the efforts put in place by the federal and state governments, Nigerians will soon overcome its present security challenges.
He commended the passage of State Police by the National Assembly saying with the local security, state and federal policing, insecurity would be tackled headlong across the country.
ATM lauded the governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his steadfast leadership and dedication to the development of Ondo State, most especially in infrastructural development, and security with the recruitment of more Amotekun and welfare packages for it personnel.
He urged the people of Owo to remain peaceful, united, and committed to the ideals of democracy, assuring them of better representation once he gets elected to the State House of Assembly.
