Don’t Be Ashamed To Start Small, Sckye Hospitals CMD, Ikubese Charges Young Entrepreneurs

Dr Thomas Wilson-Ikubese, the Chief Medical Director of the Sckye Hospitals Ltd Akure, has charged young Nigerian Entrepreneurs not to be ashamed of starting small saying with proper planning, determination and focus, the business with definitely grow big.
He stated this at the 15th Anniversary of the CityMovers Magazine/ Ondo State Celebrities Lecture, Awards & Dinner 2025, held at OSDPC Hall, Ijapo estate, Akure.
The CMD who chaired the event noted that, many of the big companies and industries in Nigeria today started small, saying an average Nigerian should learn and inculcate the habit of starting small.
” I encouraged those who came to felicitate with the award recipiens, not to be ashamed of starting small from where they are part-time and not wait for everything to be in place before launching out to pursue their dreams”.
While congratulating the Publisher of the CityMovers Magazine, Mr Bayo Adediran, he saluted his courage of heeding to his admonition fifteen years ago, against all odds, to start the publishing outfit, with little or no resources, a mustard’s seed that has since flourished.
He stressed the need to be determined and dedicated saying Citymovers is celebrating 15 years on the News Stand because of the publisher’s resilience, hardwork and determination to succeed against all odds.
Ikubese also congratulated the award recipients and admonished them not to relent in their efforts in advancing their vocations for which they were recongnised and honoured, to the next level.
Meanwhile, he appreciated the guest lecturer, Dr Abiodun Oyenehin, Director General of Ondo State Contributory Health Commission, who spoke on the topic; “Universal Health Coverage as an Engine for Economic Resilience”.
He encouraged guests at the award programme to buy into the health insurance plan of the state government, noting that health is wealth.
