It was an outpour of encomium and accolades for Comrade Dupe Aminat Omolaja FCNA, the immediate past Ondo State Coordinator of the Professional Women Accountants In Nigeria (PROWAN) as she completed her tenure in office. In a separate goodwill messages from members of the professional body, Omolaja 10 years leadership of the association was described as Impactful and successful by all standards.
In her valedictory address, Mrs Omolaja thanked members and excos for their tremendous, immeasurable, and exceptional support given to her throughout her tenure as PROWAN Coordinator, Ondo State.
According to her, “For the past ten (10) years, serving as your coordinator and facilitator of PROWAN in Ondo State has been an honour beyond measure. Your unwavering encouragement, cooperation, and dedication have been nothing short of remarkable, and the memories of our shared journey will remain with me for a lifetime”.
Omolaja said she has contributed her best quota to the development of the association in Ondo State, while soliciting for members support for the newly inaugurated executives of the association.
” As you know, the time has come for new leadership to take the helm and steer the affairs of our great women’s wing of ANAN (PROWAN). I humbly urge you to extend the same spirit of support and commitment to the incoming executives, as they continue the work of advancing our association’s vision and mission”.
The Outgoing State Coordinator further acknowledged the profound impact PROWAN had on her, saying the story of her life and service won’t be completed without making reference to the great association.
” The story of my life and service would be incomplete without acknowledging the profound impact PROWAN has had on me. I am deeply humbled by your steadfast loyalty, passion, and dedication to the growth and progress of our great association; not only in Ondo State but across Nigeria”.
She enjoined members to prioritize peace and unity as the association welcome new leaders who will build on the foundation her leadership has laid together with the members.
In her welcome speech, the new Coordinator, Mrs Ayo Salami extended her appreciation to the members of PROWAN Ondo State for the massive support and votes, promising not to disappoint the confidence repose in her.
” Your trust and confidence in me are a tremendous honour, and I am committed to justifying your expectations”.
She specially thank the immediate past Coordinator, Mrs Dupe Omolaja for her invaluable contributions to her victory, noting that, her unwavering support and dedication have not gone unnoticed, grateful for her trust in her to lead the association..
Mrs Salami also appreciated the support of National Representative, Mrs.Idowu Temilade FCNA for her endorsement, saying it is a testament to her commitment to serving the best interests of the association.
She reaffirmed her commitment to serving the association with integrity, dedication, and passion, adding that, with God’s guidance, she pledged to work tirelessly for the betterment of the association.
